Will The Embedded Content Idea In Samsung Series 8 Catch On?

Adding embedded content is Samsung's latest unique selling point, is it just a gimmick or real added value?

But what really makes the Samsung Series 8 stand out from the rest is that this LCD TV is more than just a regular goggle box. Two key features - an embedded Content Library and the infoLive function.

Want to learn how to make Seafood Risotto? The pre-installed recipes in the Content Library will teach you how. If you need to keep Junior entertained for a while, there are sing-along songs, a children's story library and interactive games such as Disguise a Dino to keep tots occupied.

The Series 8 also comes with two games - Dynamic Bowling and Minimini Cook. Both games are pretty simple, with average graphics and sound. They are not the best games out there, but still entertaining enough and certainly good to have around especially if you need to while away a little free time.
